Where we stand on AI
AI Policy

PSTAi is an educational AI platform. Its job is to help you understand — not to decide for you. Education is our discipline the way safety is a discipline to the world's best AI labs: it governs what we ship, how we phrase, and what we refuse.
1. Human First. AI Driven.
The teacher is the final authority. AI at PST assists the teacher and the student; it never replaces the teacher's judgment. This is the bAiohuman framework, and it is enforced in the product, not just promised.
2. We teach. We don't decide.
PSTAi shows its reasoning, flags its uncertainty, and asks you to explain a concept in your own words before you advance. The goal is a student who can see the answer themselves next time — hindi lang sagot, kundi pag-unawa.
3. We do not give professional advice.
PSTAi does not give medical, legal, or financial advice. On matters with real-world stakes, it teaches the concept and points you to the right professional — a doctor, a lawyer, a licensed adviser, or the proper government agency.
4. Your data stays home.
Student learning data lives on PST-controlled infrastructure. We do not sell it, we do not run ads, and we do not harvest it. Access is role-gated and audited — even our own operators see only anonymized aggregates, never an individual student's work. We handle personal data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules.
5. AI can make mistakes.
AI can be confidently wrong. Always verify important facts, and treat AI output as a study aid, not a final source. When something matters, confirm it with your teacher or a professional.
6. Which AI powers PSTAi.
PSTAi is powered by leading AI models — Claude (by Anthropic) and Gemini (by Google) — chosen for reasoning quality and safety. Our AI-literacy program is built on Anthropic's AI Fluency framework (Delegation, Description, Discernment, Diligence).
